Brazil brings together investors, companies and institutions
With a large number of participants, the Consulate General of Brazil in Toronto, Canada, brought together government authorities, suppliers, investors, academics and business agents at its offices from June 19th to 21st to address LTA projects, which include Defense and other multi-purpose stratospheric airships.
The cargo Airship draw special attention of all. It is a project that aims to unlock remote locations with little infrastructure in Latin America, with emphasis to the Amazon, and those in the cold norwest of Canada, and similar places.
Being able to transport internal and external loads, with weights that will start in the range of 15 to 30 tons, the project has the Brazilian company Airship do Brasil, belonging to Bertolini Companies, as leader and integrator. On the Canadian side, BASI adds new technologies to the project. The initiative of both countries meant an important advance in the Canada-Brazil Bilateral Agreement on Scientific and Technological Cooperation signed in 2010, and could really bring advances in Defense, aerospace, tourism, agribusiness, mining, logistics and transport, bringing together technological areas in intelligence artificial, alternative sustainable energies and telematics, especially with a view to 5G and others still to come.
The opportunity was open to interested investors and suppliers of any of the countries, including from other countries.
