AIRSHIP DO BRASIL PROMOTES A NEW ROUND OF NEGOTIATIONS



Airship do Brasil has received invitations from France, Spain and Denmark companies to initiate dialogues on cargo airship projects, specially ADB 3-15/30 and the atmospheric satellites with the flagship High Altitude Atmospheric Satellite (SAGA in Portuguese) program. The SAGA program possesses great potential in integrating telecommunications and aerial imagery with conventional satellites, and within this context, ADB executives will hold technical and commercial meetings between September 23rd to the 28th, to discuss strategic partnerships. Participating companies in the meetings are Thales, Latécoère and Euro Airship from France, Aernnova from Spain, Vestas from Denmark, Siemens-Gamesa, and the French Government, and representives of Safe Cluster, and a series of possible other interested parties.

Itamaraty, Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is providing the Brazilian Embassy in Paris as a venue for the meeting between Airship do Brasil and French Euro Airship to negotiate the construction of a French airship in Brazil, towards a greater achievements in aeronautics, aerospace and lighter than air technologies.
